We Are the Cotswold Downs Syndrome Group (Friends of Daniella).  Our website address is: https://cotswolddownssyndrome.org.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Membership forms

Membership forms are given to new members which hold personel details of the families and are required in order for us to maintain communication with members by them opting in to the services that we provide.  Membership forms can be found at all events that we attend, on this website (click here to download a copy) or requested by the contact us page.  Completed forms can be given in by hand or emailed to us at welcome@cotswolddownssyndrome.org.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

Images can be shared with us and used on this site.  Users should avoid sharing images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

User are able to contact us by entering their details on a contact form at: https://cotswolddownssyndrome.org/contact/

This information will be sent Via email to the charity, information will be stored securely and contact information will be used to reply to any questions.

Charity Members

When members join the charity they will complete a membership form, this will be stored in a secure location and not be shared with any other parties.

How long we retain your data

Any data that is entered and/or displayed shall be retained indefinitely. Only Website administrators can edit information.

What rights you have over your data

Users can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
